Understanding Your Dental Insurance
At CiDentist, we proudly accept most major PPO dental insurance plans to help make quality dental care more affordable for individuals and families. Our team is happy to verify your benefits, explain your coverage, and help you maximize your insurance at every visit.
We Accept PPO Dental Insurance Plans
A PPO (Preferred Provider Organization) dental insurance plan allows you to choose the dentist that best fits your needs, whether they’re part of your insurance network or not. These plans generally provide more flexibility than other types of coverage and may include benefits for preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dental services, depending on your policy.
Please note that CiDentist accepts PPO dental insurance plans only and is not currently contracted with DHMO or HMO dental insurance networks.
PPO vs. DHMO: What's the Difference?
Knowing how your dental insurance works can help you choose the coverage that best fits your needs and better understand your treatment options.
PPO (Preferred Provider Organization): Gives you more freedom to choose your dentist and typically offers benefits for both in-network and out-of-network providers, depending on your plan.
DHMO (Dental Health Maintenance Organization): Requires you to receive care from a designated primary dentist within the plan’s network. These plans often have lower monthly costs but generally do not include coverage for out-of-network treatment and offer less provider flexibility.
